My child Alexis Ponzio was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor in March of 2008. Having something like this happen is absolutely horrible, but we have to face these problems and do as much as we can for our children. Having a foundation as amazing as Embrace Kids makes it a lot easier, as this charity has been a wonderful help for me. There have been times that I felt like I couldn’t do it. This foundation has helped me with financial assistance with my rent and car. Also, they connected me with the PACCT program, which enables your child to receive treatment at home from the same nurses that treat them in the hospital. That was a tremendous help to us. The Embrace Kids staff was so informative, helpful and most of all they were there for us. Embrace Kids Foundation is wonderful and all families that have to go through this are lucky to have their help.
