My family has been part of Embrace Kids Foundation for two years. My son, then 7 years old, was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in 2009.  Randi Glassman from Embrace Kids is one of the first faces I remember coming over to Johnny and our family at clinic and reassured us that we were going to get through this hard time. They have been there for Jonathan with such great support and have included him in so many programs like the Summer Sibling program and the RU 4 Kids program. We were in the hospital for 7 weeks in the Summer of 2009 and Jonathan couldn't wait to wake up every morning to hang out and play with the girls from the Summer Sibling program.  They got him through the summer and all his treatments beautifully! The RU 4 Kids Rutgers Fraternity Chi Psi has taken Jonathan as their brother and has been there for him in so many tough situations during treatment in the hospital and also they have been there for inspirational moments like the Embrace Kids Walk and Holiday Parties. Embrace Kids has also been a source of financial assistance for my family and have helped us with utility bills and gift cards for food and clothing.  All I can say is I am thankful that we had Embrace Kids Foundation on our side during all of Jonathan's treatments over the past two years. They got us through, and we will never forget them!
